Hi, I'm Chelsea, Louisiana-born communications professional just trying to change the world, one word at a time. Brand Manager by day and socialpreneur by evenings, nights and weekends. Primed to run on coffee and Google calendar notifications, I currently serve as Communications Chair for Rotaract of Baton Rouge, board member at large for the Public Relations Association of Louisiana and as an ambassador for the Baton Rouge Area Chamber. I am also an active member of Club Blue and formerly served as Vice President of Communications for Forum 35.
Driven by passion and my own journey of pain, loss and triumph, I founded the You Aren't Alone Project in 2019. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to forming a network of ongoing support for mental health and wellness in Baton Rouge and surrounding communities so that no one ever has to feel alone. The project exists to encourage understanding, erase stigmas, and to invest in building the right relationships that will continue moving this initiative forward. Our vision is to be the platform that paves the way for mental and behavioral health in Louisiana to be treated and talked about in the same way as physical health. Find out how you can get involved at youarenotaloneproject.org.
But have no fear, I still manage to find time for fun both in and out of the office. Professionally-trained in improv and self-trained in standup comedy, I spend most of my down time flexing my creative muscles through comedy, painting and writing or crossing another country off my world-travel bucket list.
Plus, I use all of that to create engaging and emotion-filled presentations for your team or group. Email me for more information.
