Gravel Road Consulting ("Gravel Road," "I," "we") is the consulting practice of Chelsea Borruano. This policy explains what information this website collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Information you share with me

This site has no forms or accounts. If you email me, I receive your name, email address, and anything you choose to include. I use it only to reply, to discuss possible work together, and to keep a record of our conversation.

If you subscribe to the Along the Gravel Road newsletter, Substack handles your subscription under its own privacy policy.

Information collected automatically

This site is hosted by Netlify. Like most hosting providers, Netlify receives standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request, and keeps it in server logs used to deliver the site and keep it secure. Netlify's handling of that information is described in the Netlify Privacy Policy. This site does not run its own analytics.

This site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. Google's handling of that connection is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Cookies

This site does not set cookies, and it does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How information is shared

I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. I share it only with service providers who help me run this site and my practice, such as email and hosting providers, or when the law requires it.

Client information

Information shared during a consulting engagement is covered by the agreement for that engagement and is kept confidential.

How long I keep information

I keep email correspondence for as long as it is useful for our working relationship or as required for business and tax records. You can ask me to delete it at any time.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws. To make a request, email chelsea@alongthegravelroad.com.

Links to other sites

This site links to other websites, including Substack, LinkedIn, and press coverage. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
